cryptid.entomologist is a neurodivergent, queer artist based in Michigan. It uses odds deep love for nature, whatever riddles latest hyperfixation is, and emotions held close to hounds chest, to express through and inspire beetles art. cryptid.entomologist makes both fanart and original art, using various traditional and digital mediums; most commonly using paper and pencil, coloured pencils, water-based markers, ink pens, and the program Sony Sketch.

GENERAL

- You may pick ONE animal (anything under the Animalia kingdom) per commission/slot- There is a limit of TWO commissions/slots per person- You have the option of head, bust, half body, 3/4 body, and full body. Your decision does not affect the base price of the commission (just know that the more of the animal drawn, the longer it's probably going to take).- I have the right to refuse/turn down any request- I have the right to post completed commissions on my social medias, portfolio, ko-fi, etc.- I retain all copyright of produced artwork- Progress photos will be given when asked, they will be heavily watermarked- If you are requesting artwork of a pet, you must send a CLEAR reference photo along with. The drawing will be solely based off the photo you send- AS LONG AS YOU CREDIT ME, you may use my artwork for PERSONAL USE (such as a profile picture). Please view the CONTACT PAGE to find the corresponding usernames/links to credit me with. If you are sharing the completed commission on a place that is not listed in my contact page, please provide a link to my Ko-fi in order to properly credit me.- It can take me anywhere between a few days and a month, maybe even longer, for a drawing to be completed. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME.

PAYMENT

- Each option will have a base price, and then an additional $5 per hour it takes. (ex. base price + variable price = total price. Say the base price was $10 and it took 3 hours to make, that would be 3 x 5, which is 15, for your variable price, plus your base price of 10. Your total price would end up being $25.)- The base price MUST be paid in FULL upfront, the rest of the price shall be paid once the drawing is complete. (I will send you a heavily watermarked version of the completed drawing, and then when the total price is paid, I will send you the proper version of the completed work.)- I will NOT begin to work on your commission until the BASE PRICE is paid.- If need be, I am willing to discuss the cost of the variable price with you. However, there is a MINIMUM TOTAL PRICE of $5- I accept payment through Ko-fi and Paypal. USD only.- If you are paying through Ko-fi, please pay through the tip jar and let me know it's for your commission in the message box.- REFUNDS and CANCELLATIONS are allowed AFTER the FIRST payment and until the drawing is FINISHED. You may NOT ask for a refund AFTER the drawing is finished
